What time is it? It’s time to knit!

Who could resist a fun little free homewear pattern like this knitted clock? With this pattern knitted up with some of your favourite yarn, it will always be WIP o’ clock in your house!

It would be a great way to showcase some special yarn, as well as use up scraps for the edge and number details. There’s plenty scope for variation and using different types of yarn with this one, although 100% wool and sock-suitable blends would be your safest bet. It would look great with a grey clock face and rainbow digits, for example, or you could jazz up the face with a good old bit of self stripe or gradient dyed yarn. There’s certainly room for some sparkly yarn for those who like it loud and proud, or you could go calm and classic with neutral semi solids.

What would you knit yours in?
