Adding texture with seed stitch

What’s not to love about these fab fingerless ‘Seeded Mitts’ by Heidi Beukelman? It’s a free pattern for some really simple yet versatile hand warming accessories; perfect to take you through the spring as the temperature begins to rise and the promise of summer edges closer. The ideal project to work on whilst travelling or at knit night, this straightforward knit has just enough going on to keep you interested. It’s also a great opportunity to show off some statement buttons, if the fancy takes you.

Another pattern which lends itself to 100% merino or sock-suitable blends such as your standard 75/25, you can go as wild or as muted as you like with the dyeing technique on your yarns for this project. Consider upping the luxury with a silk blend, or perhaps a merino, nylon and cashmere blend.

What would you knit yours in?
