Pretty V shaped scarf
The clever little ‘Imaarat’ by Sandhya S uses the natural properties of decrease stitches to create a scarf which has a very slight ‘V’ shape to the finished object. With a simple lace repeat, it lends itself perfectly to showing off the delicate tones in a semi solid yarn, keeping it light and airy enough to be used in most seasons.
This free pattern would be great knit in the majority of yarn bases, as it’s such a versatile stitch repeat. I see it working well in a fluffy alpaca, with a light halo adding interest and an extra dimension. A silk blend would give it a luxe edge, particularly in a metallic shade.
What would you knit yours in?
