Owls for the crochet crowd too

This may well turn into a week of owls at this rate. This week, the crochet pattern suggestion has been kindly sent in by Sarah Jones of The Gingerbread Bunny.

‘Consider Owls’ uses about half a skein of sock yarn for the project, so it’s a great way to use up leftovers from larger projects. Here’s what Sarah had to say:

Although I haven’t personally crocheted these (yet), they’ve been sitting in my Ravelry queue for what seems like forever!

They require just 1 skein of sock yarn and use cable stitches to create the super cute owls.
This is definitely a pattern for those with a bit of crochet experience.

What would you crochet these in?
