Simple styling

The ‘Graphic Kerchief’ by Ce Persiano is a great pattern for a simple, garter stitch kerchief that could easily be integrated into your everyday wardrobe. A free pattern that also utilises a few grams of contrast colour – perfect for using up scraps – this is a design you’ll return to again and again.

This versatile design works with any yarn base, with the more drapey blends lending that property to the finished item. Resplendent in semi-solid colour ways, it can also cope with variegated and self-striping yarns, to add a bit more pizazz to an otherwise pared-back piece.

What would you knit yours in?
