The long and winding road

For the socks this week, we have the classic ‘Winding Way’ socks by Tin Can Knits. Part of the ‘Handmade in the UK’ collection by Emily Wessel, these pretty, lace panelled socks are a great way to showcase a semi-solid yarn.

Inspired by the labyrinth of medieval staircases which ascend to Edinburgh Castle, the interlocking eyelet rows of the pattern create an interesting geometric effect. Best paired with a semi-solid or solid colour way, these socks would work best in a yarn with some nylon, as you’re never going to have them off!

What would you knit these in?
