Two looks, one hat

The clever Hummingbird Inside Out hat is an ingenious design to allow you to have two looks and double the warmth in one accessory. You can simply turn the hat to whichever side matches your outfit best!

The pattern uses less than 200yds per side, so it is a great way to use up half balls of yarn. A patterned yarn with a co-ordinating solid on the inside works well, or you could go for a solid on both sides. The lace side would probably be best suited to a solid colour way, but the ribbed side could cope with almost any dye technique.

What would you knit yours in?
