Fun with mini skein sets

If you’re in the market for some fun and interesting socks to knit (and you have a mini-skein set or two to hand) check out the ‘Rainbow Pipes and Linen Stitch Socks’ by Aurelie Colas.

It’s a really fun pattern that is the perfect way to utilise those mini skein gradient sets you had to have, but have no idea what to use them for. You could use a long repeating self-stripe, even, or perhaps a gradient yarn, and separate out the colours to produce a similar effect.

What would you knit yours in?

#FreeYourSkeins2015 is a Project 365 by The Golden Skein. Want to find out more about it? Check out this page for details.
